Thanks for your interest in our company!  We are a family owned and operated Design-Build remodeling firm, and we work on small and large remodeling projects, small and large repairs, historic restoration, and everything in between.  If we don't do it we can suggest someone who can.  Most of our business comes to us from personal referrals from past customers, and other than this web site we do practically no advertising.

It's in Our Blood

 We consider this business a calling.  It is in our blood - literally.  Carl's ancestor - Ashbel Bruen, was a well known craftsman builder in the 1800's and worked on a number of now historic homes - Fosterfields (Morris County Park Commission learning farm)... Acorn Hall (now home of the Morris County Historical Society)...and a number of local churches.  We continue the tradition with a dedication to our craft that is rare these days.

While remodeling is fun and the end result is beautiful or functional, it is also stressful and challenging for the owner's family.  We have a number of unique programs that help you get through the process and that reduce the impact on you and your loved ones.  We are particularly attentive to your family's health needs, and we work to make sure the health hazards inherent in most remodeling projects are minimized if not altogether eliminated

We are also experienced in navigating the planning, zoning and building permitting processes, and are pleased to take on that work on your behalf.
