We were selected as a National Finalist for the Master Design Awards 2009

We are proud to have been selected as one of the National Finalists for the 2009 Qualified Remodeler Master Design Award for an Exterior Makeover. We were chosen by local clients to transform their “builder’s special” Tudor-like exterior into one with dramatic rooflines, authentic brick and stucco, and a European aesthetic.

The energy efficiency and overall function of their home was drastically improved with elegant front and side entry doors, new French doors in the family room, and new kitchen doors. New bronze-clad windows with rectangular-shaped lights replaced leaky and dated windows with diamond-shaped lights. Beautiful elements such as a dramatic sweeping gable in the front and a charming entrance on the side added significant appeal as well as improved ingress and egress. New smooth-coat, custom color stucco and full-size brick replaced cheap, white stucco-like panels. Wood siding with wavy-edged beveling adds depth and character to existing gables. The enlarged front stoop made out of Rainbow sandstone welcomes all to our clients’ home that now befits their international perspective and fine neighborhood.
